Lesson 21 – "O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do?"

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Dear noble brothers, we are discussing a new lesson of this series about the Ayaat that start with, "O you who believe…", and the Ayah today is the following:
Allah Almighty is pleased with man in some issues and He is displeased with him in others. One of the most detestable issues in The Sight of Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, is the contradiction between one's words and his deeds.
In fact, practicing the double standard policy by having a big contraction between one's words and actions is the biggest problem; better yet, it is the gravest catastrophe ever. This contradiction makes one's words worthless, and so when you hear someone saying things that he never applies, you interrupt him saying, "Please, stop philosophizing things" in a disdaining manner of what he says.
(O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do?* Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do.)
People are fed up with words that have never turned into actions and that have remained detached from reality and thus they became disbelievers in words. Whoever lies in our era is someone who contributes to this disbelief in words. Unlike him, the Prophets, peace be upon them, were sent to people with true words.
(O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do?)
I would like to repeat the Ayah:
(O son of Adam, advise yourself before you advise others, otherwise, you should feel ashamed of yourself before me.)
